Tribal Future is an international art studio dedicated to discovery, experimentation, and collaboration across disciplines. We bring together artists, technologists, performers, and thinkers to explore new forms of expression.
Our work is not about technology for its own sake. It is about the ancient creative drive, the same force that once lived in rituals, symbols, and communal art now channeled through the tools of our time. Emerging technologies become instruments. The spirit remains human.

Back in tribal societies everybody participated in art. A tribe danced together, played music together and everybody decorated their own surroundings. Through art they expressed their joy and sorrow, told their stories and built a communal spirit.
With 'Tribal Future' we want to channel these ancient artistic forces via cutting-edge creative technologies. Your inspirations, your thoughts and emotions should come alive and define your space and environment. Just like tribal people weaved art into every moment of their existence.
PROJECTS
IMMERSIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
During our collaborations we try to catch the participating artist's inner world ( style, personality, emotions ) and create a virtual space ( 3D animation ) expressing it. During a photoshoot in our studio we will project these images ( animation ) on and around their body. We put the physical body in relationship with inner feelings and beauty. Let's reclaim the outside world, and wear our soul & feelings proudly.
MUSIC STUDIO
Our studio houses a growing collection of unique synthesizers and sound engines from the '90s and early 2000s. Rare, character-rich machines that shaped the early days of EDM and rave culture. These instruments carry a raw, exploratory spirit from a time of bold sonic innovation, and we continue that journey in our own way.
We blend psychedelic textures with organic vocals and tribal instrumentation, building immersive soundscapes that feel both ancient and futuristic. Our live setup places the artist at the center, a shaman guiding the journey, shaping the flow of rhythm and frequency in real time.
Built around Ableton Live, Push, Launchpad and Theremin, our system is tactile and intuitive, designed for expressive performance. Whether producing records, composing for visuals, or crafting live ritual experiences, we approach sound as a portal that connects our body and soul to eternal consciousness.
Audio-Visual Experiments
Our AV experiments began in the early 2000s through live Video Jockey performances, where we built custom software to generate real-time visuals that could truly listen to the music. Rooted in creative coding and a deep curiosity for the dialogue between sound and image, we explored how rhythm, frequency, and emotion could translate into evolving 3D forms. Using tools like Webremixer for audio-visual composition, we treated each performance as both a laboratory and a stage blending technology with intuition in search of meaningful connections between live music and immersive visuals.
Extended Reality ( AR / VR / 360 )
Tribal Future has been active in Extended Reality since its early wave (2015-2016), exploring Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and immersive 360 experiences long before they became mainstream.
Our early experiments began in Unity3D with Oculus Development Kit 2 and Samsung Gear VR pushing spatial storytelling at a time when the medium was still raw and undefined. Since then, we’ve evolved alongside the technology. Today, through WebXR, we develop immersive experiences that run across a wide range of VR headsets directly from the browser expanding accessibility and reach.
But our XR practice extends beyond commercial production. It is a playground for artistic experimentation. We develop our own immersive aesthetics: exploring depth, spatial emotion, embodied perception, and the unseen potential of digital space. Many works emerge through collaboration with fashion designers, dancers, and musicians: blending physical performance with virtual layers.
Circuit Bending
Within Tribal Future operates a hands-on electronics lab dedicated to experimentation, modification, and invention. Here we design custom sensors, build interactive systems, and develop robotics that extend the body and amplify artistic expression.
We prototype wearable tech, reactive installations, bespoke controllers, and machine-driven artworks. Crafting tools that do not exist off the shelf. Every project is an exploration: modifying existing electronics, designing new interfaces, and pushing hardware beyond its intended use.
The lab serves as both a research space and a creative workshop, empowering artists to collaborate directly with engineers, and transforming imagination into signal, motion, and light.
